Changing students' lives starts here. Volunteer your time and knowledge.
Robotics teams from elementary schools through college who have earned a spot at the VEX Robotics World Championship are eligible to interview for judged awards. Judges will listen as these students share their designs and lessons learned over the course of the robotics season.

3 Ways to Volunteer, Remote or In-Person
Remote Interviews
Work with a panel of judges to interview teams via scripted interview questions, evaluate teams using a rubric, and nominate them for follow up in-person interviews. Judging is done in 3 hour increments using Zoom, with approximately 6 teams interviewed during that time. Remote Interviews begin in late February and run through early April 2024.
Remote Engineering Notebook
Using a rubric, remotely evaluate Digital Engineering Notebooks submitted by teams. Engineering Notebook evaluations are typically self-paced, and depending on the notebook it takes 15-20 minutes
on average to read through and score each submission. Engineering Notebook Evaluations take place in late February and run through early April 2024.
In-Person Interviews
Interview teams as a part of a judging panel, and evaluate responses using a rubric. Deliberate and decide upon award winners. This process builds upon the work done by remote judges. In-person judges must be able to attend the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship, held April 25 - May 3 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
