The Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) Training Webinars are monthly opportunities to explore specific topics that are relevant to specific phases of the robotics season. These webinars are geared towards both new and experienced participants.
VEX Coach and Event Partner Training Webinars
Registration for each free webinar is on RobotEvents.com, in the Workshops & Camps section. Registered participants will receive an email the day of the event to sign up to receive the Zoom link to join the webinar. The Zoom link can only be used by one attendee.
Webinars typically last about an hour, depending on the topic and the format, and usually include a presentation followed by a brief Q&A session where presenters respond to submitted questions using Zoom's Q&A feature.
Participants receive one hour of professional development (PD) credit for attending.
To further support our coaches and allow for more in-depth discussions, the RECF is also launching the Coach Academy. You can access the Coach Academy through our Moodle platform at training.recf.org. There, you can dive deeper into various topics at your own pace and join weekly open office hours. One of these sessions each month will be dedicated specifically to questions related to that month’s Coach Training Webinar. All courses in the Coach Academy offer PD credit for completed units.
Recordings of previous Coach and Event Partner webinars can be found here.
