Keyhole Gate Assembly
Tips:
- The legs of the base may slightly extend outside of the Coding Mat perimeter.
- If you notice the Teal Keyhole gate sagging similar to the picture below, rotate the keyhole 180 degrees and it should fix this so that it is angled parallel to the floor. A slight angle is permissible.
Barrier Assembly
The Barriers come in the kit as flat cardboard pieces that need to be folded and secured with clear tape.
- Fold over the Barriers at the two crease lines with strong pressure. This will help to keep the final shape when taping the edges.
- Fold the Barrier into a triangular shape. Ensure that the shorter folded edge is folded first, and the longer side is on the bottom of the Barrier.
Correct Fold Example
Incorrect Fold Example
- Use the clear tape to secure both ends of the Barrier.
- Use the clear tape to secure the long end of the Barrier. This is to prevent bowing of the long edge so that the Barrier sits flat on the floor.
