Overview
The Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) is proud to provide schools, students, and communities with industry certifications in the subjects of Pre-Engineering and for Robotics. This document represents current pricing for certifications. Please plan to have your payment or purchase order received and all proctor agreements completed and delivered to the RECF a minimum of 10 working days prior to your scheduled testing dates to receive the certifications voucher codes and instructions.
The Three Step Ordering Process
- Complete the Purchase Request to order, and pay with a purchase order, credit card or check.
- Complete Proctor Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Submit names and email addresses for all new individuals and Proctors involved with the testing process with your Certification order form. These individuals will be sent a Proctor Agreement and NDA electronically through Docusign.
- Voucher Codes will be sent to the shipping name and address on the order for distribution to the
proctor for testing. Instructions and assistance will be provided for new customers to help setup the
testing link, admin account along with Proctor and Student instructions.
Pre-Engineering Certification
Each Pre-Engineering Certification purchased includes four separate voucher codes, one for each of
the required three modules, plus an additional code to use at the Instructor’s discretion for student test
retakes or additional tests. These include the “Fundamentals of Engineering Test,” which is required before proceeding to other engineering area modules, and any two of the eight engineering modules at recf.org/certification.
Robotics Certification
Each Robotics certification purchased Includes five voucher codes for the required engineering modules for each Robotics Certification, plus an additional code to use at the Instructor’s discretion for student test retakes or additional tests. These include the “Fundamentals of Engineering Test,” which is required before proceeding to other engineering area modules, and specifically three of the eight engineering modules in Electrical, Computer Science / Programming, and Mechanical at recf.org/certification.
Note: Student earns BOTH the Pre-Engineering AND the Robotics Certification because the requirements
for the Robotics Certification meet and exceed the Pre-Engineering Certification requirement.
Proctoring
After a purchase order or credit card is received, an NDA/Proctor agreement will be sent to the contact provided via DocuSign to be completed prior to the certification/voucher codes being released. An instructor may not proctor their students. A proctor or a designated testing staff member is required, who is not the program's instructor; and as required by your state or district.

- 1 unit: $50
- 2-99 units: $50 each
- 100 units*: $4,500.00
Robotics Certification Pricing
- 1 unit: $60
- 2-99 units: $60 each
- 100 units*: $5,400.00
* Discount of 10% for 100 certifications
