The RECF Engage Robotics Competition head referee certification course is designed to teach volunteer RECF Engage referees the nuances of the current game rules and how tournaments are run. Qualified and certified head referees help provide a consistent experience for participants within and across local, regional, national, and world championship events.
The RECF Engage Head Referee Certification Course takes an average of 7 hours to complete, and represents 7 hours of professional development and training when completed. RECF Engage Competition Head Referees are expected to recertify each season.
The RECF Engage Head Referee training course is available at training.recf.org. For access to courses, you may need to create a new account in that system. Once you're successfully logged in, choose the RECF Engage program from the list on the home page, and select the RECF Engage Robotics Competition Head Referee Certification to begin.
