RECF Engage and RECF Achieve certifications are now ready!
Additional RECF certification content for other 2026–2027 programs is currently in testing and will be available soon.
The RECF Competitions head referee certification courses are designed to teach volunteer RECF referees the nuances of the current game rules and how tournaments are run. Qualified and certified head referees help provide a consistent experience for participants within and across local, regional, national, and world championship events.
RECF head referees are expected to recertify each season and you will be given a certificate (with professional development hours listed) upon completion.
RECF head referee training course are available at training.recf.org. For access to courses, you may need to create a new account in that system. Once you're successfully logged in, select the referee training tile and then choose the correct RECF head referee certification program.
