The RECF Competitions head referee certification course is designed to teach volunteer RECF referees the nuances of the current game rules and how tournaments are run. Qualified and certified head referees help provide a consistent experience for participants within and across local, regional, national, and world championship events.
The RECF head referee certification course takes an average of 7 hours to complete, and represents 7 hours of professional development and training upon completion. RECF head referees are expected to recertify each season.
The RECF head referee training course is available at training.recf.org. For access to courses, you may need to create a new account in that system. Once you're successfully logged in, choose the referee training tile, and select the RECF head referee certification for the program you are volunteering.
