Event Partner Background Check Process

All US Event Partners are required to complete a background check before hosting an event. General information regarding background checks can be found in the EP Background Check FAQ. Any questions regarding the background screening process can be directed to hr@roboticseducation.org.

For an REC Foundation Manager to approve an event, all of the listed Event Partners and Event Administrators must have completed their background screening process and be marked as “Eligible.” If an Event Partner or Event Administrator has not completed their background check, they will see the following message in red:

“Unfortunately, due to missing content, we cannot approve your event at this time. Please visit the links on the right-hand side marked by a red “x” and fill in the required information.”
