The REC Foundation Student Ambassadors Program gives students opportunities to share their robotics experience with the Robotics World Championships communities. Student Ambassadors are pre-selected high school and university students who represent their teams, organizations, and the REC Foundation. They engage with prospective sponsors, partners, and government officials throughout Robotics World Championship events.
Becoming a Student Ambassador
Students from teams that will be attending a World Championship event are nominated by their teachers or coaches. These students are then invited to complete an application form. Selected ambassadors then attend an orientation session at the beginning of their World Championship event.
Student Ambassadors serve in a variety of capacities at World Championship events, including the Parade of Nations and as VIP tour guides. Student Ambassadors receive an event shirt and certificate for their service.
